I just got Rock Discipline on the advice of some friends, and the stretching exercises do help, can't wait to learn more. |

I start with finger stretching slowly with a metronome 40-50 BPM,
Then finger exersises
Then Scales.
When warmed up play whatever you want. |

I go straight to songs and maybe some scales, i practice for 30 mins but if i have a lot of time sometimes 2 hours or more!  |

when i was on the road the band would be rehearsing for 2 to 3 hrs during the day
at show time ,start playing.
now i do about 3or 4 min of finger exercises.

I use a great bit of PC software called Guitar Practiced Perfectly. There is a free beta version at www.yourgpp.com
All the practice routines you can want with built in tick etc etc... |
